BELLEVUE DESIGN- & ARCHITECTURE FESTIVAL
Design and architecture talks, EGG exhibition, international modern dance, guided tours, jazz lounge and morning yoga
To mark Bellevue Teatret's 90th birthday, we have put together a packed programme in collaboration with Kolding School of Design, Boston Dance Theater, Fritz Hansen, Ane Cortzen, Charlottenlund Castle, Danish Architecture Centre, Gentofte Municipality, Khora, Temple Yoga, Johann Gustav Trio, Rasmus Botoft, Christian Apostoli, Friends of Bellevue Teatret and many more.
Arne Jacobsen's White City is a uniquely designed urban and coastal environment — and the ideal setting for a festival devoted to design, architecture and craft.
Step into the work, become one with the ideas and feel the design all around you. Experience the architecture and let your senses run free.
For children, there is a sensory trail and a hands-on creative workshop inspired by Arne Jacobsen.

The festival is supported by Knud Højgaards Fond and Gentofte Kommune.

TICKETS
DKK 250 per day (+ booking fee)
Under-25s: DKK 75 per day (+ booking fee)
Please note that open sandwiches are not included in the ticket price.
Upon arrival, your day ticket is exchanged for a wristband giving access to the day's events.
You may add Bellevue Teatret's luxury open sandwiches, served in a special festival box. Find a spot on a beach blanket and enjoy your food with views across the Øresund.
NB! STOL and guided tours
There is free seating for the dance performance STOL (your ticket gives access to all performances on the same day). See more about STOL below.
Places on guided tours are limited — please sign up upon arrival.

TAL R: ARNE JACOBSEN'S EGG
50 Eggs redesigned by Tal R on display at Bellevue Teatret
To mark the 90th birthday, Bellevue Teatret has secured Tal R's spectacular work EGG — 50 versions of Arne Jacobsen's iconic Egg Chair, each one elegantly and playfully reimagined and reupholstered.
All 50 chairs are brought together for two days only at Bellevue Teatret during the Bellevue Design & Architecture Festival.
Walk into Tal R's installation like entering a forest of chairs — vivid, organic and unlike anything you have seen before. Let your curiosity wander among the sculptural forms and Tal R's endlessly inventive palette of colours and textures.
STOL – A Matter of Trust
STOL – A Matter of Trust is an intense chair dance lasting just 18 minutes. An expressive burst of energy exploring form, function and community in an unsteady world.
Drawing on local research, Kolding School of Design has created the Gentofte Chair, which takes centre stage in the ballet's set design alongside ten examples of Arne Jacobsen's Series 7 chair.
A day ticket to the festival includes access to STOL (all three performances on the relevant day) and all other festival events.
